Callum Hann is a cook, author and passionate food educator who draws inspiration from his Barossa heritage and the best produce South Australia has to offer.
Hann honed his craft from a young age, working across restaurants in South Australia and Victoria from the age of 14. He shot to national fame in 2010 after placing second on MasterChef Australia and has also appeared on two follow-up series of the show. His first cookbook – The Starter Kitchen – was released in 2012, followed by I’d Eat That! and Quick. Easy. Healthy. in 2014 and 2016 respectively.
Adelaide’s Sprout Health Studio was launched by Hann and business partner Themis Chryssidis in 2014. Their Sprout Food Group is also responsible for three South Australian restaurants: eleven and Olive in Adelaide, and Lou’s Place in the Barossa.
Hann is also a regular contributor to ACH Group and Health Partners. He hosts Discover by RAA Travel on Channel 7, is on the Brand SA advisory board, and is an ambassador for Cancer Council, Pick A Local, Pick SA! and the Adelaide Crows.
