TASTING AUSTRALIA SPIRIT AWARDS JUDGE
Duncan McRae is co-founder of Woven Whisky, an award winning Whisky blending house based in Leith, which placed #35 of Drinks Internationals most admired whiskies of the world list 2023.
Originally from Scotland, McRae brings a wealth of industry experience gained from a variety of roles within the Global Premium Drinks space. Having started his career in whisky at Diageo, he went on to become the Global Ambassador for Hendrick’s Gin, before moving into more senior roles focused on innovation and strategy. After establishing his own consultancy focused on strategy for drinks brands, McRae co-founded Woven, where he now works to re-define the whisky space, bringing a fresh perspective to the traditional art of blending.
