Matt Turnbull

Growing up, Matt was always destined to be part of the wine industry with his father working for Murray Tyrrell in the Hunter Valley and his uncle being the senior winemaker at Saltrams in the Barossa.  

Completing vintages in the Barossa and Langhorne Creek led to a period in London working in Fine Wine shops; Matt had the bug. Settling on distribution in Melbourne, then Adelaide, he helped develop one of the most successful national distribution businesses before some much-loved time with Shaw and Smith as their National Sales Manager. Matt finally joined forces with his sister at a good bunch and has gone onto help shape one of the most exciting, focused and admired distribution businesses of South Australia.

Matt is a Len Evans Scholar and has judged many regional and national wine shows across the country.
