Riley Harrison was born and bred in the Adelaide Hills. A University of Adelaide graduate in oenology and viticulture, he has experience the world over. Locally, Harrison has worked in McLaren Vale, the Barossa, Adelaide Hills and Hunter Valley wine regions. His international experience includes time in Germany’s Mosel Valley, California and Portugal.
Harrison has spent the past 10 years crafting wine from a corporate level right down to small scale, garagiste-style operations. In the background he has been steadily building an arsenal of wines under his own label of Harrison Wine. Harrison now dedicates all his time to making the Harrison Wine dream a reality. He is driven by crafting wines of aromatic intrigue and textural pleasure, but most importantly wines which truly reflect the country on which they are grown.
